I have never really believed that a trading algorithm could consistently work in Forex. However I am willing to be convinced. I particularity like the ideas of Bill Williams Chaos Theory and Elliott Wave, but how to get any of that to trade with LOC is an ongoing quest. I have tried using LOC to trail along the Alligator moving averages after a fractal breakout with some success.
Hi Agard, Can you post some more info about the strategy that you use. Bill Williams Chaos Theory and Elliott Wave is too abstract. Maybe point on some resources on the web or indicators. We are always looking for new ideas for LOCSignal indicators. But usually many are too complex and are hard to analyse , integrate and test. Also the other problem is that people are using "redrawing" indicators like zig-zag. It is not possible to achieve stable results using them. Thanks Mikhail
If you look at the MT4 indicators you will see some called Bill Williams.
Turn on the one that is called fractals and the one called alligator.
The alligator consists of three moving averages. The fractal is an arrow that points int eh direction of a potential breakout.
When the price exceeds a fractal and that fractal is above the red alligator line go long.
If the fractal is below the red alligator line and the price drops below that fractal go short.
Once you have entered a trade, use LOC Trailing MA to move your stops, trailing along the red alligator moving average line is a good strategy.
You can also use LOC Trailing ea to move your stop as each fractal forms. Often the two methods get you out at close to the same place.
There is a lot more than that in the Bill Williams method that helps you more precisely determine which fractal to enter a trade
but this brief part of his strategy will get you started and you can see how this fractal breakout entry and either version of LOC can work together.
If you really want to learn about Bill Williams methods, read his books and visit the Trading discussion groups at Forex Factory where the ideas are discussed in great detail.

http://www.forexfactory..../showthread.php?t=117125 I am going to look at the new LOC Trader and see if I can develop a way of trading the alligator moving averages.
Thanks trooper for adding the displaced moving averages into the software some time back,as the Alligator is made up of three displaced moving averages.
hello trooper...i am currently working on a short term strategy that would benefit from one of your trailing stop choices you offer. I wanted to try out your Moving average Trailing stop EA as it has the features i am looking for: 1. i like how it will immediately detect new trade entry. 2. ability to set hard stop ahead of time as you are loading EA onto chart. 3. breakeven feature or lock in pips so far into trade. 4. trail once in profit by whatever pips you want. 5. works with ECN five digit brokers. 6. all this plus more that displays on chart. Questions i would like to ask: 1.Do i have to Reset EA after it closes trade? in other words, once Trailing has been hit and flat? 2.does the Moving Average trailing EA use the ask price once touched if set to 0? this would be for a Sell, as the MA Trails the Ask would be above the Bid and therefore the MA would Surely touch the Ask price first. or does the EA Exit on the Bid once touched? i understand in a Buy situation the EA would Close the Trade on the Bid, but i am asking about a Sell. 3. Also have you tested to see what is your Best Trailing Method for getting the Most Pips from a Trade? not just Moving Average Trailing, but Any of the Trailing Methods in your other Trail EA's? 4. Does your Trailing EA's work on Renko Offline Charts? Finally i would like to ask if i can Demo Your Trailing EA that offers 6 or 8 Trailing Methods, so as to see how it works on Demo Account before deciding what to buy from you,i am not sure what would work best for my short term intraday trades. Thanks for your time and Response.

1. No need to reset, EA will trail all opened orders
2. Yes it uses ask price to close orders but MA is calculated using bid always.
3. It depends on trading strategy. I usually use ATRStop on 1H chart and 5m chart for High risk positions
xBars back is very popular, also Parabolic is good for some parabolic based strategies. Kidjun-sen is too slow I think approaching is good with some EAs but takes time to make a good setup.
4. Never tested with an offline chart.
5. Yes I can make a 2 week demo for you. can you ping me via
support form Please include your email.
Thanks
Mikhail
Have you guys tried zulutrade? I am testing it on demo and the signals seem quite nice loool 😉 anybody else with experience?
Forex robot in order to create a business so that we do not traderlah by EA,
where EA is the tendency for us out front and you do not need to be a pilot from
the set of tools to help business.
For those that can code well, zulutrade just introduced a API system to trade instead of the mt4...wow pretty cool ...any one have tried it already?
I'm going to try auto trading maybe next week. Just to prove my point that it won't work. For me, it can't keep up with the sudden changes in the market.
I guess automatic trading can be profitable, but I had some bad experiance with it. That's why I prefer interday manual trading.
Is it true that the trading capital of automated robots exceeds thousands of dollars? For beginners, it is recommended to trade with manual trading or automatic trading?
