If you look at the MT4 indicators you will see some called Bill Williams.
Turn on the one that is called fractals and the one called alligator.
The alligator consists of three moving averages. The fractal is an arrow that points int eh direction of a potential breakout.
When the price exceeds a fractal and that fractal is above the red alligator line go long.
If the fractal is below the red alligator line and the price drops below that fractal go short.
Once you have entered a trade, use LOC Trailing MA to move your stops, trailing along the red alligator moving average line is a good strategy.
You can also use LOC Trailing ea to move your stop as each fractal forms. Often the two methods get you out at close to the same place.
There is a lot more than that in the Bill Williams method that helps you more precisely determine which fractal to enter a trade
but this brief part of his strategy will get you started and you can see how this fractal breakout entry and either version of LOC can work together.
If you really want to learn about Bill Williams methods, read his books and visit the Trading discussion groups at Forex Factory where the ideas are discussed in great detail.

I am going to look at the new LOC Trader and see if I can develop a way of trading the alligator moving averages.
Thanks trooper for adding the displaced moving averages into the software some time back,as the Alligator is made up of three displaced moving averages.
