Hi All,

I'm going to create some EAs which will go as a bonus with our trailing EAs.
These new EAs will use trailing to exit trades and a breakeven function from the original trailing EAs. I'm collecting different ideas for entry rules. So, if you want to get your entry rules codded for free please post in this thread.

The rule should look like this:

Indicators:
Two Moving Average (MA) (fast and slow)
Stochastic (toplevel, bottomlevel)

Long position:
1. Fast MA cross slow MA UP
2. Stoch is below bottomlevel

Short position:
1. Fast MA cross slow MA Down
2. Stoch is above toplevel

Comments:
very simple rules. one EA is slow (e.g. with period 96) other one is fast (period 24) entry when they cross. the cross should be confirmed with stochastic indicator. Stochastic value when MA crossed should be above or below the predefined values (e.g above 90 or below 10). MA and Stoch parameters pluss Stoch should be input parameters.

Please post your rules and we will code them.

Please note that we will include these EAs as a bonus into all our products.

Thanks
Mikhail

trooper...i like where you are going in your business to create automated trades, i like this idea as well, with these two indicators.
can these two indicators you are using have your own external parameters that anyone can set based on what they like?
i am also asking is these two indicators available with your LOCTrader EA?

trooper you have asked for ideas on open logic EA'S and i have one for you to add to your LOCTrader EA .
the idea is to incorporate more Indicators one can use in the LOCTrader EA for entry/exit signals for the EA to use.
external selection of either one indicator or use multiple in the EA'S Analysis to enter/exit trades and as you already have in the EA= trailing stop feature, this is going in the right direction.
i have seen what is on the Signal page of only two choices for signal entries and they are moving average type, could you clarify what other signals one can use with the LOCTrader EA?
My input is to use several choices for signal entries in one EA, i like to have personally the following choices in an EA like LOCTrader EA :
1. Stochastics SLOW/FAST Crossing=%d/%k at whatever parameters i choose to set up externally.
2. Macd 2 line Crossing at whatever external parameters i would choose-standard is set to 12,26,9 but needs to be changable- i have indicator you may like to use for this one showing the 2 lines Crossing it does show the Histogram as well.
3. you already have the Moving Average which is Good.
4. just to Confirm about the LOCTrader EA- , Can be used on Any time frame?, Can be used on Any Pair? i think Yes to these 2 questions.
5. I would Really like to see Time Filters when the EA will Trade, some Traders only Trade Certain Sessions like London or NY or Asian, but if you incorporated a Time Filter Selection in the LOCTrader EA that could either Trade Constant 24 hour cycle or use Time Filters it would be Excellent!
i have seen some other EA'S with 4=Four Selectable Choices for Time Filters in a 24 hour cycle, in other words if a Trader wanted to Trade London and Not NY one could choose certain Sessions or Specific Times the EA would take Trades.
trooper i am only suggesting what you could do here with the LOCTrader EA and if you would incorporate these ideas i and a few more of my friends as well as Many other Traders would be Very Interested in your LOCTrader EA with All these available Features in one EA.
Thanks for Considering open Logic Ideas from Traders like me, please get back to me on this matter, because this is what i am looking for along with your Trailing Features you already program into LOCTrader EA. my email is- optionman31601@yahoo.com

Hi,

All signal indicators go with open source and you can edit parameters or logic.
here is an example how it look like:
Code:

//indicator parameters
int _slowMaPeriod=48;
int _slowMaMethod=MODE_SMMA;
int _fastMaPeriod=14;
int _fastMaMethod=MODE_LWMA;

I'm collecting ideas and requirements for the new signal indicators and post them when they are ready in the forum.

Also you can ask to change the indicator logic. Usually it takes less time/$$$ to change the logic of the indicator and use the LOCTrader for common tasks like lot management, trailing, breakeven, stop loss and take profit.

1. Stochastics signal indicator will be added very soon ;) I hope next week.
2.MACD is already there but it is a little different version of MACD strategy. more info here:
http://forex-forum.lando...ndicator-EURUSD-1H.aspx

3. Moving average is a good indicator to start. Many other indicators use MA.
4. Yes. Any pair and any timeframe.
5. Time filter will be added very soon. Next version I hope.

I'm open for new good ideas for EA features and signals but it is very hard to filter them. There are so many re-drawing, slow and other bad indicators/strategies...

Thanks
Mikhail

Hi I have seen many of the videos of the LoCtrailing EA and seems like a very usefull tool.
I have also beeb searching for a developement offer like this to share my ideas.
I have been mostly "studying" breakouts and have noticed an 100% consistency on some indices when this happens.
SO here are the results I have noticed.
For this we have to have set the folowing
EMA ( exponental Average) one at 10 and other at 50
so EMA 10 and EMA 50
MACD histogram 9E 12, 26CE
RSI at 14
Slow Stochastic( 5,3,3,)
P.Sar at 0.02 and 0.2) works also to 0.03 and 0.2)
Bollinger Bands as well.

Below is an example for this of the Crude Oil of yesterday.

As you see at the breakout ( marked with red)
Happen the following.
The Psar Is underneath
The exchange rate line breaks out of the bollinger bands ( though that may not always happen)
The EMA 10 ( red) is Above the EMA 50
The MACD histogram is above o with the fast line over the slower.
The RSI is above 50 ( even 50.1 counts many times )
The Stochastic white is above the red signaling upward momentum

one could add also the momentum indicator which in most if not all situations will have a value little above 100. level..

Of course the long position could have been opened BEFORS , i.e. at 13:50 at the chart, with little reverse following after
For short postitions on negative breakouts oposite rules apply.

Hi Alex,
The system looks complex. I assume that there will be too few signals.
Can you provide more examples and manual analysis of the system? Good vs bad signals, # of signals per week

Thanks
Mikhail

I can provide many examples, however if you apply these indicators I mention to your own platform to identify breakouts (bigger or smaller)long or short you will notice that happen almost every day. (considering thre are so many things to trade)
The point is the quite big jump on the price which isn't just a hunt for a few pips but a "pips heaven" I shall say

Below is a todays breakout in Gold, I didn't expect it ( because the EMA 10was below the EMA 50) but decided to enter since all the other signals were correct so went long after 1660 , took profit at about 1672
( I recon, if having a program like the LOCtrailing could have followed the price for me and ensured more profit)

For sure if a breakout happens, nothing stops it till next resistance or support point.

What do you mean by manual analysis of the system ?

Hope that helped. Alex.

Hi Alexarts,
here is the signal indicator based on your parameters.

I didn't test it much though.
Also you didn't spec some of the values for parameters e.g. bbands and others. so used default

Please try it and let me know your thoughts.

Thanks
Mikhail

4 hours Time Frame --- Good for high volatility pairs like gbp/jpy; gbp/chf; gbp/usd & eur/usd when it is trending.

Stochastic ~ 95,6,5 & stochastic 21,7,7 (fixed level of oversold & overbought @ 0-20 & 80 -100 respectively)

Weighted Moving Averages ~ 4,6,13
ADX~ 75
Bollinger Bands ~ 50 Simple Moving Average
Bollinger Bands ~ 18 Linear weighted Moving Average

Buy Conditions
1. Both stochastic must have reached below 5 @ oversold before the entry will be considered valid .
2. Stochastic 21,7,7 rise to 30 & above while Stochastic 95,6,5 rise to 15
3. The crosses of weighted MAs 4,6,13 happens at the middle of LWMA 18 Bollinger Bands that comfortably settles within Bollinger Band 50 (SMA).

***4.Entry point @ 15 ninutes Time Frame by checking if EMA has crossed over; 43 to cross above 90 when all the conditions above have been met.

Sell Conditions
1. Both stochastic must have reached above 95 @ overbought before the entry will be considered valid .
2. Stochastic 21,7,7 move below to 75 while Stochastic 95,6,5 move under 85
3. The crosses of weighted MAs 4,6,13 happens at the middle of LWMA 18 Bollinger Bands that comfortably settles within Bollinger Band 50 (SMA).

ADX~ 75 of 1hour Time Frame is used to gauge the strength of the trend.

Hi KittyNaija,
I code signal indicators according to your logic
those indicators can be used with LOCTrader EA as signal providers.

Usually takes about 1 week to code an indicator from the forum if no other tasks...

Thanks
Mikhail

Tools

4hrs Time Frame
Semafor - Repaints but Parabolic SAR (0.02, 0.05) act like lever to it most times stops to repaint when Parabolic SAR appears.
Schaff TC (72,43,90) fixed levels 20 & 80
EMA - 43 & 90
Stoch Histogram (95,6,5) level=0
Colour Stochastic (95,6,5) & (21,7,7) fixed level 20 & 80 Colour appearing indicates oversold or overbought.

Buy Conditions
* Semafor below the 2EMAs (43 & 90)
* Schaff TC @ oversold reading 0.2 - 0.5 though parallel to the lower limit
* Both colour stochastics (95,6,5) & (21,7,7) must always agree with schaff TC at oversold though sometimes schaff TC is faster, then in such scenario the two colour stochastics
are relaible to wait for. Faster (21,7,7) @ 30 level & Slower (95,6,5) @ 15 or 20 level for buy trigger.
* Stoch Histogram must have the colour red histogram below the zero line to make the entry valid ~ Its curve is glaring as price proceeds up.OR you buy with schaff TC 15min TF when it crosses 20 up @ oversold provided the observation above is still valid.

Sell Conditions
* Semafor above the 2EMAs (43 & 90)
* Schaff TC @ overbought reading within 95 - 99.8 though parallel to the upper limit
* Both colour stochastics (95,6,5) & (21,7,7) must always agree with schaff TC at overbought though sometimes schaff TC is faster, then in such scenario the two colour stochastics
are relaible to wait for. Faster (21,7,7) @ 30 level & Slower (95,6,5) @ 15 or 20 level for buy trigger.
* Stoch Histogram must have the colour green histogram above the zero line to make the entry valid ~ Its curve is glaring as price proceeds down.OR you sell with schaff TC 15min TF when it crosses 80 down @ overbought provided the observation above is still valid.

**Take Profit ~ 200 pips +
**Trailing Stop by 50 pips after breakeven by preventing loss at orders entry

I will be sending the custom indicators files & the screen shot to forex@landofcash.net. Please admin if there is still need to put them on the forum, kindly help me. Thank you.
