Hi All,
Just want to share a simple indicator which will draw distance in pips lines on the chart to Bid price.

It is free and you can download it here:

To run it:
1. Unzip and copy under Metatrader/Experts/indicators/ folder
2. Attach on the chart
3. drop a horizontal line.

Indicator updates on every tick

I changed the original indicator to script so it can work faster.
Now it will update the value every 50ms
so you can drag lines and see updated pip values without waiting for a new tick.

Please put under .../experts/scripts/ folder
and find under scripts section in MT4

hello trooper i sent a message to you about this script explaining how i placed it on one time frame and then try to switch to different time frame,
it will not let you switch to other time frames, can you fix this so it will work when you switch to other time frames, i would love to be able to switch from many time frames being able to see what you program this script to show.

Hi,
I'm not sure if you can switch the chart and let the script to continue whitout restart.

There is also an indicator version of LOCLinePips available. It should work fine and let you switch the Timeframe. But it is less agile and recalculates on a new tick.

Thanks for sharing the useful indicator. I have 2 suggestions here, which could be the optional features for the indicator:
1. consider spread for the pip distance (so that we can estimate our profit target in a glance)
2. calculation based on 4-digit price (because 5-digit price is often confusing)
